Guides Daily publishes free guides from five brands: After 50 Decoded, My Cat Explains, My Dog Explains, Verses & Prayer and Mi Perro Explica. The site is operated by Realivo Group Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom, which is the data controller for the information described here.
What we collect
- Your email address and your consent choice, when you ask for a guide.
- Basic email activity from our email provider, such as whether an email was delivered, opened or clicked, to keep sending working and spam-free.
- Standard server logs from our hosting provider (for example IP address and browser type), kept briefly for security.
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Why we use it
We use your email to send the guide you asked for and short follow-up emails from that brand. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who helps us
Emails are sent through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which stores your address on our behalf. The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States). Both act only on our instructions. Where data leaves the UK or EU, it is protected by standard contractual safeguards.
We never sell or rent your email address, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Unsubscribing
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. We honor it promptly. After you unsubscribe we keep your address on a do-not-email list only so we don't contact you again. Each email names the brand sending it and includes our postal address, as required by the US CAN-SPAM Act.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Inactive addresses are removed periodically.
Your rights
Under UK and EU GDPR you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Write to hello@guidesdaily.com or reply to any of our emails. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.
Children
Our guides and emails are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect email addresses from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
