Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Sparrow: Daily Prayer & Verse app for iPhone and Android. Short version: we do not collect your personal data.

What stays on your device

Names, notes and dates you add on the People tab, your journal notes, favorites, streak and reminder time are stored only on your device. We never receive them. Reminders are local notifications scheduled by your phone.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your card details. To know whether you have an active subscription, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase history and basic device information (model, OS version, country). RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.

Microphone and audio

If you choose to record your own prayer, Sparrow uses the microphone only while you are recording. The recording is saved only on your device and is never uploaded. Background music and read-aloud audio are downloaded from our website guidesdaily.com; like any website, the hosting provider may log your IP address for security, and we do not use it to identify you.

Analytics and ads

The app has no analytics SDK and no tracking across apps or websites. Sparrow shows no ads. Prayers and verses are public-domain texts; nothing is written by AI.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device. Purchase records stay with Apple or Google under their policies.
